We bought this microwave, Paderno 1.6 inverter style Black and Stainless beautiful looking and used it infrequently. At best we used it about 3 times a week to make rice or reheat soup and stew. This week it started to flash and buzz loudly and smoke like crazy. I cannot express the massive disappointment in this brand and expected at least 4-5 years out of this super expensive microwave. What a huge waste of money. I do not recommend this microwave at all. No wonder it has a one year limited warranty.
We purchased this microwave from Canadian Tire in November 2022 this evening the microwave imploded!! Why no idea, being that it only has a one year warranty with a company. It’s done for brand new immaculate condition. Done $200 down the drain. It really upset me these days when you spent a lot of my on kitchen appliances that are just not made well..please take a look at the photos. Just so anyone that has one is careful. We were heating up a corn on the cob covered with a wet paper towel. Kaboom!
My microwave is less than a year old and started making crackling sounds every time I use it. Unfortunately I do not have a receipt to exchange it but after my experience with this brand I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it.

Love most about it is the ease of use .It was east for everyone in our house to understand right away, esp the teenagers. Its so much better than what we had,and does a fantastic job of evenly cooking , and defrosting items.Its size is great for whatever you have to cookwhich for us can be anything from coffee,to popcorn,to lasagna. Totally think this will fit beautifully in our kitchen arsenal!
