Was used primarily for removing cookie sheets, silicon on the thumbs disintegrated after 5 months, cannot return to Canadian tire as it was a Xmas gift.

Good insulation and the neoprene palm helps you grip your hot pots. The extra long sleeve keeps your upper arms protected. The longer length does make them more difficult to store.

We already owned these mitts but lost one. They are high quality and work well when taking things in or out of the oven. I highly recommend these mitts.
